2024 Annual Glassell Art Sale - Dec 6-8

Come one, come all! It’s the eagerly anticipated annual Glassell Art Sale!! Once a year Glassell opens it doors and students hawk their wares for three days of shopping extravaganza. If you’re lucky enough to be in Houston area around this time, drop in to shop loads of original art work and pick up gifts for friends, family, and yourself :). The Thursday early-access shopping tickets are already sold out (as it usually does each year, quickly). But the sale proper is open and free to the general public from December 6 to 8, 2024 (Fri 11am-8pm, Sat 10am-5pm, Sun noon-5pm).

Many of the piece available in my online shop will be available at the sale, including a few newer pieces that I’ve not had the time to post in the shop yet ;). Proceeds from the sale benefits both the artists and the Glassell scholarship program.

Pocket ‘Verse 2 (mezzotint print) will be available at the sale.

Travellers (darkroom chromogenic print) will also be available at the sale.

There’s so much original artwork available that it’ll be a veritable treasure hunt and you’ll no doubt be able find something that speaks (or even sings) to you. Here’s a sneak peek at all the goodies that’s been piling up so far. I photographed these when I dropped my works off this morning, so there’s definitely much more than this come opening time!
